A recap of what’s currently happening (that I can disclose publicly) – aka brain dump of thoughts. More on what I plan to write about on this blog.
- Full time career in the IT field – more specially improving the ways we’re currently deploying software using Microsoft Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS). In other words, I’m on the DevOps train, leaning toward the Microsoft technology stack. I will try to focus a lot of my future posts with technical stuff and less personal (for obvious reasons :). Things that I’ve tried, failed, and succeeded at.
- Kids starting school soon at a private school affiliated with the main Acton Academy in Austin. Super excited to see their transition and growth. I will try not to be the tiger parent, but who can blame me for getting excited when my children can read something? 🙂
- Successfully started a Toastmasters club at work with a lot of help from a few other awesome folks there. We are growing slowly and steadily (28 members now). It surely takes a lot of work, but so worth it. Getting to know more wonderful people in the company and stretching my public speaking muscles. I also joined another outside Toastmasters club to keep the motivation going.
- Various investing strategies (or gambles LOL).
- Some interest in a local retail business. Very very very early stage. Fingers crossed.
